Job Description

We are a passionate team building a revolutionary Software Engineering Optimization SaaS solution, which empowers software companies to achieve advantageous business outcomes by unifying security and efficiency. We are at an exciting stage of growth and are looking for a driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team and play a crucial role in acquiring our first wave of customers.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Prospect and Develop New Business: Identify and target ideal customer profiles, generate qualified leads, and build strong relationships with potential clients.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve ambitious sales quotas. This includes cold calling, email outreach, attending industry events, and other prospecting activities.
  • Solution Selling & Negotiation: Effectively present and demonstrate the value proposition of our SaaS product, understand customer needs, and negotiate win-win deals.
  • Market Understanding: Conduct thorough market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor analysis, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Partnership Development: Explore and establish strategic partnerships to expand reach and revenue generation.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Utilize a CRM system to meticulously track leads throughout the sales funnel, measure performance metrics, and report on progress.

Must Have skills

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in the SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and navigate complex negotiations.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales methodologies.
  • Familiarity with software SDLC, Agile, and IT Ops is a plus.
